Who We Are
The Morganton Housing Authority is a Federally Funded Non-Profit Organization, Incorporated in 1964. In June 2004 we were honored with high performer for the first time in our 40 years of service. We have a (7) member Board of Commissioners. The MHA Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Morganton . We currently manage 250 Public Housing apartments and 30 Section 8 apartments. We provide safe, sanitary, affordable housing for low income families. We support self sufficient attitudes that encourage our tenants to excel at their highest potential.
